The Regional Director GTM is ultimately responsible for the office's ability to meet Formlabs objectives and key results in the long term. They will be responsible for the sales and service success of the office, including team growth, performance, and engaging customers. They will have wide-ranging responsibility for all functions within the office, including Sales, Services, Expenses, Operations, and Recruiting. They should internalize Formlabs company-wide goals, as well as department-specific goals like sales targets and services SLAs in order to set objectives and key results for their office. They are a steward of our company culture, an expert at relationship building, and a skilled people-leader. They can handle problems of increasing complexity, and are adept at navigating daily problems without losing sight of the overarching need to sell our products and provide high-quality customer support.

The Job:

  • Set the strategy for the Second Site location to achieve all objectives & key results, including (but not limited to) sales targets, services SLAs, recruiting & office growth, employee engagement, and office efficiency.
  • Manage a team of frontline managers that measure team members’ performance and contributions, motivate them to succeed, identify and address obstacles that prevent achievement of performance objectives, and address performance issues.
  • Analyze available data in order to identify trends, market opportunities, and ways of improving overall go to market performance.
  • Lead and contribute to Sales, Services, and Formlabs initiatives to improve and transform our business.
  • Accountable for the responsible use of Formlabs funds to maintain engagement and to provide a customer experience that builds loyalty to the company.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the physical office site by managing a small team of operations personnel.
  • Create a strong connection to our HQ team through goal alignment, communication, relationships, and a cohesive company culture.

You:

  • Proven track record of leading a sales or services team to achieve ambitious targets and deliverables.
  • Experience managing large teams (25+), particularly inside sales and/or services as well as managing managers. 
  • Strong management skill and ability to motivate and develop staff. High energy level and demonstrated ability to coach and guide multiple departments.
  • Proven track record of go-to-market success in a hardware / manufacturing field, ideally in or adjacent to 3D printing. 
  • Experience or ability to step up as a General Manager, including deep understanding of managing a P&L, ability to drive analysis and insights that lead to better business outcomes, and ultimately drive a high performing, efficient operation.
  • Comfort with operating autonomously - entrepreneurial spirit with ability to develop appropriate processes to manage growth.
