The Project Coordinator’s primary function is to support projects to onboard, track and supply repair parts for Formlabs hardware products.  The coordinator may also be called upon to lead department-specific projects to enhance documentation control efficiency and replacement part availability. For example, establishing and documenting standard practices across product lifecycle management, replacement parts induction and cross-department collaboration. 

The Job:

  • Support the Replacement Part Project Manager on strategic initiatives for in-field part replacement, such as web store and warehouse part inductions, and process optimization
  • Drive initiatives originating from the Engineering Documentation Control committee to enhance PLM functionality and optimize document control systems. Examples include automating ECO implementation date logging, creating PLM usage reports and migrating legacy PLM data.
  • Support the creation of dashboards and tracking systems to establish visibility into PLM and RP process metrics, track their performance and identify areas for efficiency improvement
  • Document the current state of PLM system configuration, workflows and system integrations in a Playbook
  • Up to 25% travel to Formlabs HQ or US locations to support replacement part warehouse inductions or in-office events

You:

  • Strong execution leadership and communication skills
  • Able to distill customer needs into written requirements and actionable tasks
  • Capable of juggling multiple simultaneous projects and independently driving them to completion
  • Have technical knowledge of PLM software, its use in engineering document control, PLM system configuration and integration across business applications
  • Are familiar with engineering design and change management processes

Bonus Skills: 

  • Project management experience including waterfall scheduling, budgeting and resource management
  • Exposure to data querying and analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Elasticsearch and/or Redash
  • Prior experience in a documentation control role, potentially using or administering Propel PLM 
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification or equivalent Salesforce experience
