Our passion is designing and building powerful 3D printing tools. Our manufacturing team is responsible for research and development of the manufacturing processes for all of Formlabs products. They work cross functionally with mechanical design, electrical, and materials teams.

If you’re excited to help us troubleshoot processes, ramp manufacturing, and launch products, we want you in shipping & receiving.

 

 

· Scheduling shipments and logistics, verifying the contents of outgoing shipments.

· Determining methods and costs of shipping and printing/affixing shipping labels with identifying information, charges, and payment information.

· Receive goods, supplies, components, or other items and compare them to BOL to ensure no discrepancies.

· Packing containers with fillers, spacers, and protective padding and securing cartons and containers with nails, straps, or metal tape.

· Examining and verifying that outgoing shipments meet specifications and adhere to environmental systems and management procedures.

· Documenting and sending returning shipments of damaged or defective goods.

· Preparing and printing shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs.

· Taking and managing inventory and keeping the area secured.

· Organizing and maintaining the stockroom through cataloguing and cleaning on a scheduled basis.

· Maintaining all computerized shipping and distribution records and compiling reports for senior management.

· Process shipments via FedEx, DHL USPS, using different account numbers by comparing rates and weights.

· Receive pick orders that needs to be process, package and ship out to customers by FedEx or other carriers.

· Load and unload trucks using manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, or electric walk behind forklift.

· Enter and adjust information in the WMS or other inventory management system to ensure accurate information is transmitted to the necessary personnel.

COMMUNICATION

Communicate via phone, chat, email or other methods with freight companies, suppliers, customers, scheduling, and plant personnel.

SAFETY

Follow any general safety instructions for the plant or plant area the clerk may be working in.
