Position Title: Packaging Specialist

Reports to: Fulfillment Supervisor/ Fulfillment Team Lead

Formlabs Ohio (dba Spectra Photopolymers) specializes in creative solutions in the protoscience’s and related technology. Spectraoffers custom UV curable formulations, photoinitiator packages, UV Curable Coatings and Adhesives along with color change concentrates and printed materials.

This Packaging Specialist position is responsible for the labeling, pouring, and packaging engineered resins manufactured for photochemistry applications. A detailed breakdown of the different responsibilities associated with this position is defined below.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all Spectra health and safety and local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for applying product and compliance labels onto cartridges
• Responsible for pouring engineered resins from mixing tanks into cartridges
• Responsible for bagging and boxing engineered resins into individual bags and cartons
• Responsible for taping cartons, inserting into master box, and palletizing
• Responsible to follow and maintain all the documentation associated with quality control
• Suggest procedural and process improvements to meet or exceed the plant’s productivity and quality goals.
• Provide firsthand support to Fulfillment on any manufacturing process issues
• Maintain effective communication channels (oral and written) to all levels at plant

Education and Training

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of employment in manufacturing setting preferred.
