This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of business strategy and employee experience—anchored in Budapest and spanning EMEA & APAC. Come join us as our Head of Talent Strategy, EMEA & APAC.  You’ll be based in Budapest, Hungary and responsible for our teams across EMEA and APAC. 

This role ensures effective execution of global People strategies while adapting to regional requirements, and acts as the primary advisor to regional leadership on organizational health, talent relations, and employee experience. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational responsibility.  We need someone who can conquer any obstacle using solid critical thinking skills, develop smart and scalable solutions, and lead execution/operational excellence to make an impact. 

The Job:

Lead the Budapest Site

  • Act as the face and voice of the Budapest office—internally and externally
  • Drive culture and engagement initiatives based on employee insights
  • Lead site leadership forums, turning feedback into action
  • Provide data-driven recommendations on compensation, attrition, and engagement
  • Serve as signing authority for key local processes

Strategic People Business Partner (EMEA & APAC)

  • Partner with regional and global leaders to align people strategy with business goals
  • Lead complex employee matters and act as escalation point for high-risk issues
  • Drive initiatives across performance management, engagement, and organizational design
  • Support change management, restructuring, and workforce planning
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Recruiting, Finance, and Legal
  • Bring regional insights into global People programs and policies

Regional People Function Oversight

  • Guide a distributed People Operations & Workplace Experience team (3–4 members)
  • Ensure seamless execution of onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Maintain compliance and consistency across policies and employee relations
  • Identify opportunities to scale, standardize, and improve processes
  • Oversee office operations and vendor partnerships to enhance workplace experience

You:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR / People roles, spanning both business partnering and operations
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide teams
  • Strong knowledge of Hungarian employment law and fluency in both Hungarian and English is required
  • Experience supporting multi-country regions, ideally across EMEA and/or APAC
  • Solid background in employee relations, organizational design, and change management
  • Experience working in a U.S.-based, fast-paced organization
  • Ability to seamlessly switch between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence senior leaders
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Operational excellence with a focus on scalable, efficient processes
  • Comfortable with regular international travel across EMEA and APAC
